SHOW SCHEDULE

Hedge Cutting Has Become A Pleasure Again

Meet Arbtalk member “VEG”. He just bought an Easy-Lift Harness after seeing it at the APF Exhibition and had some very kind words about his experience it with a power hedger.

“Been using the ELH this week, what a really great tool. Takes all the weight off my arms hedge cutting has become a pleasure again. I was suffering a burning pain in my shoulder blade, chiropractor said it was from using heavy tools at full stretch of my arms. I have cut some very large hedges with it this week and have really enjoyed doing them. My employer paid for it but in honesty after using it I would have paid for it myself as I have got no pain in my shoulder at all. Three lads at work have had a go and they are also amazed at how easy it is to use.

It has definitely increased production. I used it on a hedge the other day that I usually have to stop several times. I did it all in one go just to see how I felt afterwards. I had no burning pain in my shoulder which I know I would have had with several stops if I hadn’t been using the ELH. We have cut a hedge without it since and it is then that you truly realise how much strain it takes off you, I am well impressed and wont be doing any hedge without it.”

APF Exhibition a success for Easy-Lift Harness

The APF Exhibition 2012 in the United Kingdom was a great success for the Easy-Lift Harness. We met lots of new people and made several new connections overseas. Thanks again to FR Jones and Son for providing a demo area for the Easy-Lift Harness and to Arbtalk for their continued support of the product.

Easy-Lift Harness on My Cool Inventions radio show

My Cool Inventions is a weekly radio show on 970WFLA in Tampa, FL hosted by John Cremans and Akos Jankura.  Each week they allow 3 applicants to pitch their “cool invention” for a chance to be a part of their “launchpad” marketing program.

This past Saturday, July 21, 2012, John and Akos featured the Easy-Lift Harness along with 2 other entries.  Check out the audio below of the Easy-Lift Harness pitch.

Watch the video of the entire show here.

It’s a “great bit of kit”…

Arbtalk member Steve (aka tractorboy1) recently had some kind words to say about his Easy-Lift Harness.  Thanks again Steve.

“Been using the ELH for the last couple of days. Great bit of kit, had a wide beach hedge to do yesterday dread doing it every year. Can just about do it from one side with the echo long reach. Normally kills my arms by the end of the day, but with the ELH it was actually a pleasure to do.

The hedge normally takes a 8 hours to do but only took 6 1/2 this year because you can just keep cutting without a break.”

Two NEW Arborist Apps from Arbtalk

Here’s a little something worth talking about.  There’s two brand new apps now available for arborists all around the world.  From the UK based forum “Arbtalk” come the Knot App and the Fungi App for iPhone, iPad or Android.

The Knot App includes over 50 knots for every kind of application you could imagine.  See screenshot below

And as you may have guessed the Fungi App helps identify fungi with color photos and categories.  See screenshot below

Both are very handy applications for the arborist on the go.  Each app retails for just under £3 and pay for themselves many times over with quick and useful information right when you need it.
